We are now looking for a lift technician

We are now looking for a lift technician for an exciting position at our unit in Gothenburg, which, together with colleagues, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of our approximately 300 lifts.

Job Description

We are responsible for operation, supervision, maintenance, and troubleshooting as well as customer service. Our properties are complex and technically challenging. With our specialist knowledge and understanding of our customers' conditions, we help create the prerequisites for life-saving care.

The unit in Gothenburg is responsible for Sahlgrenska Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Östra Hospital, and Högsbo Hospital. You will be part of a team of 5 people.

Job Tasks

You will primarily work with operational monitoring and repairs. Furthermore, you will also work with operational optimization and implementation of improvements in electrical and mechanical controls. In this role, you will provide information and advice to the operations that the systems serve. The work includes service, repairs, troubleshooting, and programming in the facilities, as well as quickly finding workable solutions in case of urgent operational stoppages. You will also assist our technical managers in their work with planning improvements to our lift stock.

The position includes daytime work with the possibility of on-call duty.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education in electrical or mechanical fields. Furthermore, you should have good computer skills and be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A driver's license (B) is also a requirement for this position.

We would like you to have the ability to create good relationships, both internally and with our customers. As a person, you are calm, secure, and want to develop in your role. You are a true team player, which requires good collaboration skills, humility, and a lack of pretentiousness. You thrive and understand the importance of working in a large organization.

Furthermore, we see it as desirable if you have:

  • a strong interest in electrical and mechanical controls
  • post-secondary or other education in technology, mechanics, or welding skills
  • work experience as a lift technician, door technician, or electrician
  • support experience
